Rani Sati Dadi Maa's narrative begins with the Mahabharata. When Abhimanyu died during the battle of Mahabharat, Uttara (Narayani in Kaliyug) was astonished and enraged at seeing Abhimanyu (Tandhan in Kaliyug) die as a result of the Kauravas' betrayal. As a result, Uttara wishes to kill herself as just an act of dignity or to make the Kauravas in Mahabharata aware of their wrongdoing. But, at the time of her death, Uttara was ready to give birth to a kid. When Shree Krishna saw this, he told Uttara that taking her life was against the Dharma of the woman who was about to give birth to a child. Recognising her error, Uttara requested that Shree Krishna marry Abhimanyu.
The temple is unique because it lacks murals or statues of male or female gods. Instead, the devotees worship a Trishul representing might and force. The pradhan mand houses a picture of Rani Sati Dadiji. The temple is made of white marble and features vivid wall murals.
