Nahargarh biological park

At a glance

Granite boulders and strong metamorphic rock made of interlocking quartz crystals were used to develop this lovely biological park.

A tropical rainforest is arid, dense, and home to several creatures, including tigers, lions, leopards, and others.

The Rajasthan Government is responsible for maintaining the entire Biological Park, and there is no doubt that it is doing an excellent job of keeping it clean and well-maintained to draw tourists and visitors.

Things to know before you go

• A thorough walk of the park takes about two to three hours.
• If you go on a holiday or weekend, you might have to wait in line for tickets and encounter crowding. In any case, entertainment cannot exist without a crowd.
• Make an effort to dress and walk in comfy shoes.
• Always have water bottles on hand.
• Don't try to break any rules or bother any animals. Maintaining cleanliness is always a good idea; therefore, try to only dispose of trash in trash cans.

Things to remember

• Tuesdays are when the Park is closed.
• The park is open from 8 AM to 5 PM in the summer and from 9 AM to 5 PM in the winter.
• Fees for Entering the Biological Park:
• Foreign visitors pay Rs. 300 per person, Indian tourists Rs. 50 per person, and Indian students Rs. 20 per person.
• Fees for Biological Park Vehicle Entry:
• Motorbike costs Rs. 30, Canter/Minibus Rs. 300, Auto Rickshaw Rs. 60, and Bus Rs. 500.
• Each participant must pay Rs. 200 to enter the safari.
• Combination tickets for the Biological Park and the Lion Safari are available.
• The combined ticket cost for the Biological Park and Lion Safari is Rs. 250 per person.
• The Lion Safari is open from 9 AM to 4 PM.
