Ranthambore National Park is home to dry deciduous forests and open grassy meadows. The park's flora comprises 539 kinds of flowering plants.
Ranthambore Fort was constructed in the tenth century at the height of 210 metres (700 feet) above the neighbouring plain. Three red Karauli marble temples inside the fort are dedicated to Ganesh, Shiva, and Ramlalaji. A Digamber Jainism shrine of King Sumatinath and King Sambhavanath can be found here. Temples were built in the 13th and 12th centuries.
Padam Talao is indeed the biggest of the park's several lakes. At the lake's side is the red sandstone Jogi Mahal. A massive Banyan tree, India's 2nd biggest, is also located near the lake. The Aravali Range is located within Ranthambore National Park.
The national park encompasses 392 km2 in total, including the buffer zone. The core zone is around 275 km2. The tiger reserve covers around 334 km2. It now has an area of land of 1334 km2. The elevation ranges from 215 and 505 metres below mean sea level. The country is covered in a deep, tropical forested area, open bushland, and rocky terrain, including lakes and streams. Khathiar-Gir dry deciduous woods are part of the ecoregion.
Human-tiger encounters and poaching became more common as park tourists and the populations of neighbouring villages expanded. In 1973, the Indian government launched Project Tiger and designated 60 square kilometres of the area as a tiger reserve. This region was later enlarged to establish the Ranthambore Nature Reserve.
There were 26 tigers in the park in 2005. This was much lower than the reserve's documented tiger population in 1982, which was 44. According to non-government sources, there were 34 adult tigers and more than 14 cubs in Ranthambore National Park in 2008. This increase was largely owing to forest officials' ongoing efforts to reduce poaching.

We had a very nice experience with vedanshi cab, our chauffeur Shahul was very nice and very polite; he took us to good places, suggested the best restaurants and even helped us to book a homestay in Jaipur, he stayed for 6 days with us like a family member. Best experience we had; thank you so much.
